The new season is shortly approaching and Rovers are ready to take on Saffron Walden in their first game of the season this Saturday (01/08) as FA Cup action returns to the Winton Haulage Stadium!
With Hitchin Town getting a late reprieve, the Southern League Central Division One consists of 21 teams for the 24/25 season:
AFC Dunstable, Aylesbury Utd, Barton Rovers, Beaconsfield, Berkhamsted, Biggleswade, Enfield, Flackwell Heath, Hadley, Hertford Town, Kidlington, Kings Langley, Leighton Town, Leverstock Green, North Leigh, Northwood, Real Bedford, Stotfold, Thame, Ware & Welwyn Garden City.
Over the summer, some players departed whether that be out on loan or permanently but the majority of the squad has stuck around. Where there's been departures, new faces also arrive as Tyler Josephs (GK), Rio DaSilva (ATT), Charlie Milton (DEF), Kian Wilkes (MID), Mason Watkins-Clark (DEF), Saul Williams (MID), Aaron Addy (DEF) and Brad Bell (ATT) join the Rovers! Most notably, DaSilva, Wilkes and Bell who return after playing at Sharpenhoe Road before.
Our league campaign begins on the 10th August as we travel to Hadley.
Our first home league game will be against Real Bedford on 13th August
We have been drawn at home against Waltham Abbey in the first round of the FA Trophy on September 7th (subject to change).
