After the summer break the 1st team squad are already back in pre- season training.
The preseason fixtures have been arranged and the planning and preparation has started. A lot of work has been done over the off season both in the club and with recruiting personnel.
Not only have we seen new faces in the playing squad ,we have also seen them in the management team as Mark Boyce brings in John Mcloughlin and Tony Fontanelle to help with this seasons campaign. We would like to welcome John and Tony to the club and wish them well.
Speaking to Mark on the new recruits he said “After James moved on I knew I had to appoint the right kind of people, that I could trust and who has the same drive and ambition as me. After speaking to John and Tony this came apparent and we were all on the same page. I have known John for a few years and have worked with him both at Aylesbury and Dunstable Town, and I know he has a big loved for local football. He needed a new challenge and it sat well with both of us. Tony has good experience within the southern league and has a wealth of player knowledge. I am very positive about the upcoming season and we all will be working hard together to get to where we need to be.”
