Grant Beckwith - Goalkeeper

Signed from Langford in the Spartan South Midlands Premier in September 2009. Grant who at only 19 years of age has gained valuable experience in previous seasons with neighbours Hitchin Town and Leighton Town. After starting the season with Langford, Grant comes to Rovers looking to cement his place at this level of non-league football. Grant is a student of Hertfordshire University but also runs a small football coaching company called GB Coaching.

Lee Wilson - Defender 
Age: 28
Previous clubs: Cambridge City, Hitchin Town, Arlesey Town & Haverhill Rovers

Educated to a high standard as a youngster with several pro clubs to his name. Joined for his second spell with Barton after re-joining from Arlesey Town, Lee was manager Dan Kennoy's first signing. Lee  made the left back position his own and showed his quality especially from set-pieces. A versatile player who is comfortable on his right and left foot. Was a valuable of the team and wore the captains armband on several occasions during his time with the club. Left before the start of the 2012/13 season after Royston Town offered the full back a one year contract.

Liam McDevitt - Defender

Defender who signed professional forms for Stevenage Borough after successfully coming through their Youth scheme, spent time out on loan at Hitchin Town while at Stevenage to gain experience. Signed for Royston Town at the start of the 2010-2011 season before transferring to Rovers in Jan 2011. A strong and clever defender that reads the game extremely well.

Luke Knight - Midfielder
Age: 22
Previous clubs: Bedford Town, Arlesey Town and St Neots Town

Signed for the club during pre-season in 2010. At 22 years of age Luke has gained experience at Bedford Town, Arlesey Town and St Neots. A good technical player who is comfortable in any position on the park but best suited in midfield or the attacking area's of the pitch. Left before the start of the 2012/13 season to join neighbours Biggleswade Town.

Andrew Iwediuno - Defender

Re-signed from Southern League rivals Northwood in September 2010. A promising young central defender who was a major factor on the clubs mid table finish last season. Andrew has pace, is strong in the tackle and chips in with his fair share of goals each season. A valued member of the first team as well as a fans favourite.

Scott Joseph - Forward

Signed for the club during pre-season in 2011. A young raw forward who has already been amongst the goals for the reserve team this season. Scott has a bright future ahead of him and this season will be a steep learning curve for him. An exciting prospect to have at the club and i'm sure the best is yet to come from him.

Morgan Phillips - Defender

Morgan has joined Rovers from Rushden & Diamonds. Morgan is a Bedfordshire lad who can play full back, centre back or in midfield. Morgan was captain of the Rushden 1st years team in the 09-10 season, where he went on to receive the Young Player of the Year award. Morgan was given a first team squad number in January '11 to fill a place on the bench for R&D's FA Trophy game at Eastwood. Morgan has spent time On-Loan at St Ives and Cambridge City as a Rushden player last season and made his Rovers debut against Biggleswade Town in Feb'11. 

Layne Eadie - Defender / Midfielder
Age: 18
Previous clubs: St Albans, Bigglewade United

Signed for the club during pre-season in 2011. An energetic midfielder who also filled in at left back. Talented on the ball and has a great temprament and attitude. Layne was thought of by the gaffer as an up and coming youngster and but Layne's patience ran out and opted to move to neighbouring strugglers Leighton Town in January 2012 to help with their relegation battle. After only a couple of months the winger was snapped up to aid St neots for their title push.

Aaron King - Midfielder

Loanee from Rushden & Diamonds - Aaron began his scholarship with Liverpool in July 2009, becoming the third player in the last two seasons to move from Rushden & Diamonds Youth System to a Premiership club. During Aaron's time in the North-West he struggled with injury, and rejoined Rushden in October 2010 - aged 17. He was given a place in the Diamonds First Team squad in Nov'10, and made his first appearance in the Blue Square Bet Premier as a substitute in the game at Luton Town on 1st January 2011. "Kingy" made his Barton Rovers debut coming off the bench in the 1-1 draw at home to Rugby.

Tom Peverall - Midfielder  
Age: 19
Previous clubs: Crawley Green

Local lad who is 19 years of age. Tom took the step into adult football two seasons ago with Crawley Green. At Crawley he had the taste of promotion when they stepped up from Spartan South Midlands Div2 to Div1. During his first season with Barton Rovers the central midfielder learnt quickly and established himself as a first team regular towards the end of the 09-10 season. The 10-11 season has seen TP move out to the wing and this has seen his name appear more regularly on the scoresheet. 

Bilal Hassan - Forward

A forward who has pace to burn and a tremendous work rate. Has a pedigree of scoring goals at this level and higher with Hitchin Town. Bilal will be looking to end the season as the clubs top goalscorer.

Deji Orujoke 

Energetic box to box midfielder who was previously with Dartford. Signed for Rovers in August 2010 and chipped in with a few goals until he left the club in March 2011 after failing to command a regular first team place.

Return to the club for his third spell after several seasons at Biggleswade United. A pacey strong full back that has the art of defending down to a tee. A likeable character within the dressing room and shows a great deal of determination and commitment.

Leon Simpson - Ocean was signed from Southern Premier league side Brackley Town by Dan Kennoy. His reign as Rovers no.9 started well with a brace against Burnham on his debut in October 2010. A gigantic striker who is as equally good with the ball at his feet as he is in the air certainly gave Rovers oppponents a cause for concern. Leon left the club in Feb 2011 after the club was approached by Rugby Town as the striker looked to move to a club closer to home.

Russell Preston - Midfielder

Returned to the club during the close season from Dunstable Town. A naturally pacy player who is equally effective on the wing or up front. Consistantly chips in with 5-10 goals per season. 

Richard Butler - Defender 
Age: 24
Previous clubs: Needham Market, Enfield Town, Bury Town, Stowmarket Town

Richard who originally came through the ranks at Stowmarket in his early years was part of the double winning Needham Market side last season. Not only is Richard a strong and commanding central defender but he can also play right full back or as a holding central midfield player. Signed for Rovers in the summer of 2010 initially on a dual registration from Enfield Town.

Aaron Fletcher - Recently re-signed on loan from Conference neighbours Luton Town. Aaron is a promising young keeper that will undoubtly go on to play at a higher level. Until that time comes Rovers are more than happy for the keeper to learn his trade at Sharpenhoe Road. 

Michael Parkin - Having gained lots of experience at Torquay United, Slough
Town, Bracknell, and Hitchin. "Parks" has a Bryco Cup winner medal with
Slough Town. Looks a confident keeper with good handling and will keep push
for the no.1 jersey this season.

Ross Hanley - Versatile centre midfielder who grabbed both Supporters and
Players player of the year awards in the 08-09 seasons. Transferred from Dunstable
Town in September 2008. Ross impressed from the moment he arrived at the
club and spiced up the midfield. Ross moved to local rivals Arlesey Town in October 2009 after captaining Barton at the start of the 09-10 campaign.

Adam Scanlon - Promising young left back that has had his set-backs over the last couple of years. After breaking his leg in a pre-season game for Hitchin Town in 2006, Scanners has spent alot of time since then on the treatment table. He completed his first full season  back playing last year with Hitchin Town reserves and made the move to Sharpenhoe Road this summer. Made his debut in the 5-2 win against Bedworth in September 2009. 

Nat Liburd - Signed on from Aylesbury in 2008 close season. A very pacey
defender who was right back at Aylesbury last season, who he joined from
Berkhamsted. He has been a youth team player with Kettering Town. He can
also play at centre half or midfield. He has looked very strong in the games
so far. He has recently started playing up front where his pace causes a lot
of problems to other defences. Left Barton for Woodford United in August 2009.

Russell Preston - Signed on 2008 having been released by Luton Town youth .
He has been very impressive in the games he has played so far and scored on
his debut. He has got very quick feet and likes to attack defences.
Transferred to neighbours Dunstable to gain experience and came back "home"
this year with an even bigger appetite to score goals. Now a permanent
fixture in the team. Left Barton for Dunstable Town in the Spartan South Midlands league in September 2009.

Callum Donnelly - Feisty midfielder who can also operate up top. Signed from Stotfold at the beginning of October 2009 and completed the family ties between the Donnelly's and Barton Rovers. Callum's will to win is certainly something that will rub off on other squad members and the wide man will also bring assists and goals to the dressing room. Callum left for neighbours Hitchin Town in the summer of 2010.

Joel Mason - After a brief spell at Borehamwood, Joel has signed for the
club this season via Hitchin Town and Stotfold. Another member of the
Stotfold UCL Premier winning team, Joel has consistantly scored 20+ goals a
season at lower league level. Joel's passion will see him continue to
succeed at this level. Joel left for neighbours Arlesey Town in the summer of 2010.

Tawhid Juneja - Nicknamed "Toads" again is another player rejoining the club
after 3 seasons at Stotfold FC were he captained the UCL premier winning
side. Toads orginally started with Barton at 15 years of age and was part of
the Barton squad that managed to record the clubs highest league finish at
step 4.

Danny Watson - Striker signed from AFC Kempston in the close season. Danny
comes with an excellent CV after captaining England Schoolboys at Wembly.
Not only did he captained the side but also managed to score against
Scotland. A local lad who at 18 years of age nows needs to show his quality
at non-league level if he is to further his footballing career.

Richard Pringle - The latest new arrival to the Barton Rovers squad and another returning player. Pringle has a wealth of experience at this level and will give the front line a much needed target. Played last season at Arlesey Town and started off pre-season at Hitchin Town before opting to join the Rovers via AFC Dunstable.

Luke Jones Having captained Bigglewade United in the Spartan South Midlands Premier league for the last two seasons Luke decided at 21 years of age that it was time to step up the footballing ladder. A composed centre half with natural spring. Luke left for Royston Town in 2009 after failing to break into the first eleven.

Steve Fahey - Another young member of the team at 21 years of age, Steve spent last season at Southgate County in the Southern Amatuer League were we was awarded Player of the year after scoring 30 goals. Steve left after failing to command a regular place in Gary Fitzgerald's first team squad.

Danny Nicholls - Another new signing this summer who again has youth on his side. A wide midfielder Danny gained promotion with Royston Town last season in the Spartan South Midlands league and is another player that hopes to step up the footballing ladder. Danny left for Codicote in 2009.

Thomas Mustapha- Transferred from neighbours Hitchin Town after 4 league goals in eight league apperances in September 2010. Thomas has spent the previous season with Ware in the Ryman league but has experience with Dagenham and Redbridge and Stevenage Borough. A striker that is of similar style to Bilal Hassan which will undoubtly force competition for places in the striking department.  

Liam Errington - A 29 year old play making midfielder who signed from Wingate and Finchley in September 2009. Previously with Langford, Hitchin Town and Codicote Liam brings an element of experience to the Rovers dressing room. Liam is a full time coach for Arsenal's academy.

Simon Chang - 29 year old experienced non-league goalkeeper. As a young 18
year old Simon broke into the Stevenage Borough squad that managed a shock
1-1 draw against Newcastle United in the FA Cup back in 1997. Was sent off for Barton on his debut against Stourport in August 2009, after serving his 3 game suspension Simon never returned to the club.
